Greenway Farm is a biointensive farm in Kingston, MA. Our farm’s focus is to produce an excellent product- currently microgreens and specialty salad greens for restaurants, primarily. Our operation, located on a wind farm and using primarily renewable electricity, employs sustainable practices such as integrated pest management, minimal tillage, cover cropping and vermicomposting. We use an aquaponics system to grow our microgreens, the roots of which are then composted to greatly increase the organic matter content of our soil. We will eventually sell fish through this system as well.
